Priscilla Presley is difficult the validity of her late daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s will.
In a courtroom submitting obtained by CNN, attorneys for Priscilla Presley filed a petition disputing a 2016 modification to her daughter’s will. The petition states that Lisa Marie Presley eliminated her mom and her former enterprise supervisor, Barry Siegel, as co-trustees and changed them along with her youngsters Riley and Benjamin Keough. Benjamin Keough later died in 2020.
The petition alleges that, amongst different points surrounding the modification, Priscilla Presley didn’t obtain the modification whereas her daughter was alive as required by her Belief and that the doc misspells Priscilla’s title. The petition additionally alleges the modification was not witnessed or notarized and questions the authenticity Lisa Marie’s signature.
“[The signature] seems inconsistent with [Lisa Marie Presley’s] normal and customary signature,” the paperwork state.
CNN has contacted representatives for Priscilla Presley and Lisa Marie Presley’s property for remark.
The petition comes simply days after Elvis Presley’s solely youngster was laid to relaxation at his former residence, Graceland.
Lisa Marie Presley died on Jan. 12 after being hospitalized following an obvious cardiac arrest at her Los Angeles house.
She was 54.
Her reason behind demise is pending additional investigation by the Los Angeles County Coroner.
